| Pottery & Hand-Building Classes (540)-373-7046 Christine, has her BS. in Art Ed. from Kutztown U. She has taught Art for over 20 years and a Pottery Instructor in a College Preparatory school for the last 12 ½ years of those years, before coming to Fredericksburg the summer of ’06. Elizabeth, is a senior at the University of Mary Washington, majoring in art education. She has years of experience in throwing on the wheel. In the upcoming semester she will be exploring miniature pot throwing in an individual study. In 2011 she won a special award in drawing in the university's annual juried student art show. Pottery and Hand-building Classes Indulge your creative side with a Pottery, throwing on the wheel class. The first session of classes you will learn the basics for making different types of bowls. The next session of classes, will concentrate on vase shapes. Adults -15 and over (3 spaces) Pottery/ Throwing on the Wheel Class fee is $155 for five consecutive weeks. Plus the clay and glaze fee of $30 per person. Tuesdays 6:30-8pm Thursdays 6:30-8pm Other class schedule times may be discussed directly with Christine. Throwing on the wheel for kids!! Elizabeth, Our newest teacher for Kids on the wheel will hold sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30. KIds - 8 to 15 (3 spaces) Pottery/ Throwing on the Wheel Class fee is $125 for five consecutive weeks. |
